Ronald Michael Mazur served Roman Catholic Mass as an Altar Boy at St. Vincent's Church in South Boston, Massachusetts. He had been baptized in the Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa in South Boston. His mother and relatives were, however, Jewish, except for two of his cousins who were also raised as Catholics. This is an interesting story which requires its own book. Ron went on to Boston University (A.B.), Harvard Divinity School (M.Div.), and the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco (Ed.D). He was ordained as a Unitarian minister at the First Parish Church in Stow, Massachusetts and served Unitarian and Universalist churches in Massachusetts and Florida. Ron also taught human sexuality for 18 years at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and had private practices in Clinical Sexology in Massachusetts and Florida. Returning to the focus of theology, Ron established the FreeJesus website in the late 1990s.
